Identity
Filimada.org consists of three groups: Funders, Creatives, and those who volunteer with Filimada. They all should share a similar worldview.
We are always working to promote and develop an inclusive, rational, and empathic worldview. By this we mean that we don’t hesitate to agreeing with the following statement: all people, regardless of their race, ethnicity, religion and sexual orientation have the same rights as any other individual.
Vision
The goal behind Filimada.org is simple, to support the creation of a visual understanding of our identity for the future. Through our funding, we intend to deliver uniquely Somali stories and our own narratives in films.
The vision is for Filimada.org to be more than a goal.
Organizational Structure
The organizational structure of Filimida.org is meant to offer an efficient way to to meet the purpose of Filimida and achieve the shared vision. The general management of the organization comes under four positions – while they are under a Board of Directors.
